FIRST EVER PURPOSE BUILT ISLAMIC CENTRE BEING CONSTRUCTED IN NEASDEN!
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ
Did you know Neasden will In shā Allāh soon have it’s own purpose-built Islamic centre – (Jamia Al-Hafsah, Neasden Islamic Educational & Cultural Centre) on 30-34 Waterloo Road, Neasden?
Named after Umm-ul-Mumineen Hazrat Hafsah bint Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA)- who was known for their intelligence and courage – the Islamic Centre will In shā Allāh serve the intellectual and spiritual needs of London’s growing Muslim community.
There are around 1,318,755 Muslims in the capital, and in Brent alone, one in five people are Muslim.
In shā Allāh, the aim is to get the Islamic Centre up and running by next Ramadān. That’s just 7 months away, time is of the essence and work needs to be completed!
The first phase (structure) is already underway. To stay on schedule it needs to be completed before the end of October 2023, In shā Allāh.
The cost to complete phase one is £390,000 of which £140,000 has been paid but we URGENTLY need £250,000 for the work to be completed by next month.
In shā Allāh, if we work together, this project is achievable. We need the community’s generous support.
If you can lend the Islamic Centre a Qarza-e-Hasanah (interest-free loan) that will also be helpful. A contract between both parties will be signed for when the loan will be repaid.
Kindly send all donations to the charity account, Jamia Al-Hafsah (charity reg no:1044016),
